Wildflower meadows are a vanishing habitat – come and help maintain ours! Here are some details of what we do and when our sessions are.
Annual General Meeting
Come along to our AGM – the formal business is to be followed by an interesting talk about Bats, often seen at Swaines Green at twilight but poorly understood.
Spring arrived just in time for the May Fayre 2023!
Despite dodgy weather leading up to the event, it proved fine, sunny and warm, and we held a successful Fayre on Lower Swaines Recreation Ground. Plenty of photos to see!
Kick off the Bank Holiday season with a visit to the 2023 May Fayre!
Come and join the fun – lots of stalls, events in the Arena, child and dog friendly, and plenty of places to get food and drink at some of the best prices around.
Countdown to the 2023 May Fayre!
Planning and preparation for a new style May Fayre on Lower Swaines Recreation Ground is well under way, but more help is needed. Mark the date!
Help us maintain Swaines Green!
If we did nothing, Swaines Green would become first scrub, then woodland. That’s why we need to manage the habitat.
Help needed please
We need your assistance to help eliminate the vandalism and antisocial behaviour breaking out at Swaines Green.
